Place matters.

Fraternities began as social clubs in the 1800s. Students with common interests gathered to discuss, debate, and socialize. Over the decades, chapters built houses — as an alternative to rooming houses and apartments, when universities rarely provided campus housing.

Over the years, majestic homes became the anchor for not only the residential experience but the growth of the community. As you explore Cornell’s fraternities, take time to visit — virtually and in-person — the place you might call home during your years at Cornell, and the place you return to as a proud alumnus.

Beyond the scope and condition of the facilities, you can also check out the Greek Life “Scorecard” for additional information about chapters.
